區文斌現時任教於香港演藝學院及香港浸會大學音樂系,教授結他演奏及合奏。自二零一六年起,區氏擔任「阿爾達米拉香港國際結他研討會及比賽」的制作總監。區氏曾獲邀擔任結他比賽評判,包括二零二零年阿爾達米拉國際網上結他比賽、上海中國全國結他大賽、中國瀋陽結他音樂節國際結他邀請賽及澳門青年音樂比賽。 區氏活躍演奏於香港、中國內地及美國,曾獲邀與合唱組合Zephyr: voice unbound 合作並在南加州地區作巡迴演出;區氏曾於美國洛杉機KTLA 電視台及KPFK電台作直播演出,並於香港電台第四台節目「香港音樂廳」作獨奏演出。

Man-Bun Au is currently teaching Guitar Performance and Guitar Ensemble at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Music Department of Hong Kong Baptist University. Since 2016, he has been the Operational Director of the Altamira Hong Kong International Guitar Symposium and Competition. Au has been appointed as the adjudicator of the Altamira International Virtual Guitar Competition 2020, China National Guitar Competition in Shanghai, the Shen Yang International Guitar Competition in China, and Macao Young Musicians Competition. Au has been heard both in Hong Kong, China and the United States. He has been the featured soloist of the program “Hong Kong Concert Hall” of the RTHK Radio 4. Au has collaborated with “Zephyr: voice unbound”, a Los Angeles based chamber choir, giving concerts throughout Southern California area. Au has given live performance in television station KLTA and radio channel KPFK of Los Angeles.
Born in Hong Kong, guitarist Man-Bun Au began his guitar training in his teenage. Mr. Au was admitted by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts where he studied under Ms. Tina Karen Lo and became one of the first graduate major in Guitar Performance. Au continued his guitar study at the University of Southern California studying Professor James Smith, William Kanengiser, and Brian Head. Au has also been tutored by renowned guitarists, such as, Pepe Romero, Angel Romero, David Russell, Manual Barrueco, Oscar Ghiglia, Bruce Holzman. He graduated at USC with his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. In addition, Au was the scholarship recipient to participate the festival “Musica en Compostela” where he studied with Jose Luis Rodrigo.
